FAQ

Why invest in land and forestry now?

Rising demand with limited supply

Rising demand with limited supply Demand for products from forestry and agriculture is steadily increasing, while at the same time the land available for their use is limited. In 2020, around five billion cubic meters of timber were harvested worldwide, and demand is rising by 100 million cubic meters each year. A similar situation exists in agriculture, where a growing global population with increasing prosperity, alongside the continuing sealing of land, is driving demand for arable land and food. Wood is a sought-after raw material, whether as a construction material, for paper production, or as an energy source. Agricultural products are indispensable both for nutrition and as renewable raw materials. This imbalance between supply and demand increases the attractiveness of investments in forestry and agriculture.

Is this a safe investment?

Stable, real-asset investment

This asset class generates annual returns through biological growth. With fertile land and rising demand for forestry and agricultural products, an increase in the value of this scarce asset is assured. The asset class is crisis-resistant and capital-preserving, making it ideal for portfolio diversification. Investment risk is low due to stable returns from harvests or lease income. In addition, there is always further potential to increase income using renewable energy.
